ACTOR/NARRATOR
Deb got her start on the stage having graduated with a B.F.A. in Theatre from Virginia Commonwealth University. She then migrated to Washington, DC where she and several of her theatre pals started an experimental theatre producing new plays by local playwrights. She has performed in the DC metropolitan area at such theatres as Ford's Theatre, The Kennedy Center and Woolly Mammoth Theatre among others. Today, Deb's stage is her in-house recording studio where she gets to perform all the roles in the script! One of her favorite roles was narrating the voice of Hallie Flanagan in: Who Killed the Federal Theatre: An Investigation for PBS. Always delighted to work directly with the author, Deb narrated the first novel in the Garage Sale Mystery Series which was later made into a Hallmark Movie. And always mindful of the author's and publisher's intent, she endeavors to collaborate on every level of the creative process to ensure quality narration for the listening audience.
Whenever I've worked with Deborah she has been professional and quite pleasant. Marvelous diction, real voice talent. - David Jennings, BonAventure and Creative Group
